Marketing

There are 5 ways to Market your app to maximise awareness, distribution and ultimately downloads.

1. Digital
2. Print (PoS)
3. People
4. Hardware
5. Incentives

1.) Digital;

Marketing digitally makes a lot of sense as it is fairly easy to divert interested parties to the app store via online routes and navigation.

- E-Marketing Campaigns
- Website area (promo panels, navigation, widget)
- Social Media download push (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook)
- Referring Sites (RoM, ManCon, Viva etc)
- Reviews on app store
- SM group messaging, individual link drops, private messaging, image promo
- Digital Screen Media in stores / offices
- Web Advertising
- walk through videos
- website trace redirect as per device. For on mobile browsers
- push notifications
- ShortCoded SMS

2.) Print (PoS)

It is important to have a strong point of sale presence within the BB sites and this can be achieved using print media. All print should be QR coded.

- Roll banners on Store
- Seasonal printed materials
- business cards (promoting app, contact details and QR coded)
- Posters / Stockists / Office Entry
- Materials in bags
- QR code of the week

3.) People

Often underestimated, staff engagement is an essential part of ensuring your foot-fall are made aware, firstly, that you have an app and secondly how they can download it. Trade shows - These are fantastic opportunities to promote and up-sell your app to your perfect target audience - your customers.

- The staff should be targeted with a conversion rate directly related to weekly foot-fall.
- this should be made part of your KPI's and have a place in your standard business process.

4.) Hardware

Unlike other agencies, TDS can supply hardware to assist in the distribution of your app. The hardware will provide a wifi network that redirects usage to the app store with your app positioned and ready for download.

- we could provide mobile hardware to be used on stores / trade shows
- join wifi / click link to app / download (3 click route to download)
- the hardware will help distribution but BB should not be reliant On this as a lazy approach.

5.) Incentives;

If you offer direct incentives to your customers then you are more likely to succeed in whatever it is you wish to achieve. Incentives should be clear and measurable for the consumer. I am not going to tell you what to offer but how you may choose to offer it.

- QR code of the month in stores
- Offer something free / cheaper for choosing to buy directly through app.
- Competitions. Never underestimate the power of competitions, they ensure your target provides accurate details. Change offering monthly. A great medium to exploit to maximise data submissions.
-  make a direct saving in-store (right now, today) by downloading our app before you pay your bill.
